Dammam Industrial City goes into Lockdown following COVID-19 spread.

July 30, 2020

Dammam Industrial City goes into Lockdown following COVID-19 spread.

In light of the COVID-19 outbreak in Saudi Arabia, and according to a report by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Ministry of Interior has ordered the complete lockdown of the industrial area of Dammam, the capital of the kingdom’s Eastern Province. However, EASTERNPAK’s corrugated cardboard plant remained operational in order to fulfill customers’ orders on time.

8 hours after the ministry’s decision, and in order to ensure the continuity of production, the EASTERNPAK management selected the crucial teams that are needed to keep the plant operational and offered them accommodation that includes beds, showers, food and beverage necessities, in addition to entertainment facilities. The management made sure that the essential employees’ basic needs are met, and their emotional well-being is at ease.
