Every summer, UNIPAK welcomes university students from across Lebanon through INDEVCO Group's structured Summer Training Program, offering them far more than a traditional internship.

By immersing trainees in a dynamic manufacturing environment, UNIPAK provides hands-on industry experience where students collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to real business projects, and gain valuable insight into how creative ideas are transformed into market-ready products.

This commitment to developing young talent reflects UNIPAK's belief that creativity flourishes when fresh perspectives meet industry expertise. Through close mentorship and practical experience, students strengthen their technical and professional skills while contributing meaningful ideas that support the company's business objectives.

This approach came to life through the work of two summer trainees: Elie Hajj, an IBM student from Notre Dame University–Louaize (NDU), and Tracy Sassine, a Graphic Design student from the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK).

Working alongside UNIPAK's commercial and product development teams, Elie and Tracy developed a new range of “Sweet Boxes” that combined creative packaging design with market-oriented thinking. Throughout the project, they translated insights into practical packaging concepts while carefully balancing aesthetics, functionality, manufacturability, and commercial appeal.

Their work culminated in a final presentation to UNIPAK's management team, where they confidently showcased the concept and demonstrated its market potential. Following the successful presentation, the “Sweet Boxes” were approved by management and will now become part of the company’s product portfolio.

The project reflects the core purpose of INDEVCO Group's Summer Training Program: giving students the opportunity to work on meaningful business initiatives while creating value for the market and the organization. By involving trainees in real projects with measurable outcomes, the program helps develop future professionals while encouraging fresh thinking across the business.
