EASTERNPAK achieves grade ‘A’ on BRC Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials – Issue 4 audit.

EASTERNPAK meets BRC – Issue 4 requirements covering quality and functional aspects of packaging. EASTERNPAK scored the highest grade in its first transition audit from Issue 3 to Issue 4, evaluating the plant against revised standards.

The re-audit, conducted by Karl Hernmann Klêgel, TÜV NORD CERT Lead Auditor, took place at the corrugated packaging plant in Dammam, Saudi Arabia on 11 – 12 July 2012. The certification assures retailers and branded manufacturers that Easternpak implements best practice systems, as well as technical, legal, safety and quality standards.

Fouad Khalil, EASTERNPAK General Manager, states,

“Successfully passing the BRC Global Standard transition audit from Issue 3 to Issue 4 with a grade ‘A’ illustrates EASTERNPAK’s consistent belief in teamwork and commitment to sustaining excellence. Continuously raising the bar for excellence has become an integral part of EASTERNPAK’s culture due to dynamic team leaders.”
