1965 – Foundation of Union Packaging Corporation S.A.L. (UNIPAK) – IPC and INDEVCO’s first manufacturing company – in Lebanon.
1966 – Completion of the installation of all manufacturing machines for a full production process.
1967 – Start of UNIPAK’s first export activity to explore the markets of Europe and North Africa.
1976 – Total acquisition of UNIPAK by the Frem family from Mead Corporation.
Expansion of UNIPAK and the establishment of Repro Center, a division member that specializes in advanced pre-press solutions.
Expansion of UNIPAK’s die-cutting and finishing operations.
UNIPAK’s acquisition of the ISO 9001 certification.
Investment in new machinery to improve UNIPAK’s quality and corrugated product line.
UNIPAK’s acquisition of the European Federation of Corrugated Board Manufacturers (FEFCO) certification for Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
Expansion of UNIPAK’s new manufacturing facilities and the growth of its solid board packaging capabilities.
Acquisition of the British Retail Consortium (BRC) Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials, earning an A grade on the High Hygiene category.
We are committed to promoting sustainability across all our global divisions, and lessening the environmental impact of our products and practices. Each of IPC’s divisions aims to uphold the guidelines of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and, wherever possible, gain FSC certification for our solid and corrugated products. Our teams receive regular training to ensure that our actions are guided by environmental and social philosophies that help build and support a strong, sustainable community.
